CounterStrike® FGP-CS-500-100 – 1/2" x 100' Flexible Corrugated Stainless Steel Tubing (CSST) for Gas Piping Systems
CounterStrike® by TracPipe® is a 1/2 inch nominal diameter CSST (corrugated stainless steel tubing) supplied on a 100-foot reel, engineered for distributing natural gas and propane in residential and commercial systems. Designed to meet ANSI LC 1/CSA 6.26 requirements, it offers improved resistance to lightning-induced damage compared to standard yellow-jacketed CSST, without requiring additional bonding beyond normal grounding per code.
Constructed from 300-series stainless steel with a patented black energy-dissipating jacket, CounterStrike® tubing minimizes arcing risks and provides enhanced mechanical durability. Its flexibility allows for direct routing through framing without the need for excessive fittings, while AutoSnap® fittings (sold separately) simplify termination without threading or disassembly.
Key Features
Non-annealed stainless steel core for enhanced crush resistance
Conductive jacket design disperses energy from transient voltage or lightning strikes
Bends easily around corners and through framing, reducing joint count
Compatible with AutoSnap® fittings – no split rings or special tools required
Suitable for indoor and outdoor installation in accordance with IFGC and NFPA 54
Conductive polymer jacket is UV and ozone resistant for exterior applications

Installation Guidance
Installation must be performed by qualified professionals per local and national gas code requirements. All installations must be grounded as required and conducted using manufacturer-approved fittings. For direct burial, separate sleeving is required. CounterStrike® does not eliminate bonding requirements in jurisdictions that mandate full-system bonding regardless of CSST type.
