This product features an integrated oxygen diffusion barrier that meets the requirements of DIN 4726, preventing oxygen ingress into system components, which reduces the risk of corrosion in ferrous parts such as pumps, valves, and boilers. Manufactured using the Engel method (PEX-a), Wirsbo hePEX™ offers exceptional flexibility, high thermal stability, and long-term hydrostatic strength. It is third-party certified to ASTM F876 and F877 and listed for use in heating and cooling distribution systems under UL 263 and CSA C22.2 No. 114.
