Streamline MH12010 – 1-1/4" x 10' Type M Hard Copper Tubing for Pressure Water Systems
The Streamline MH12010 is a 10-foot section of Type M rigid copper tubing designed for above-ground pressure applications in potable water distribution, HVAC systems, and general plumbing. With a nominal inside diameter of 1-1/4", outside diameter of 1-3/8", and a wall thickness of 0.042", this straight-length copper tube meets industry requirements for strength, dimensional consistency, and corrosion resistance.
Manufactured to ASTM B88 specifications, this tubing is incised-marked for type identification and color-coded per standard practices to assist in job site verification. It is suitable for use with soldered, brazed, or mechanically joined systems.
Key Attributes:
Material: Seamless copper tube, Type M
Size: 1-1/4" nominal ID, 1-3/8" OD
Length: 10 feet (straight hard drawn)
Wall Thickness: 0.042"
Working Pressure: 582 psi
Temperature Range: Rated for service from 100°F to 400°F
Compliance: Meets ASTM B88 and NSF 61 standards; certified for potable water applications
Performance & Application:
Rigid Construction – Type M copper is suitable for interior plumbing, hydronic distribution lines, and general water supply systems where code permits.
Corrosion Resistance – Copper material provides excellent resistance to scaling and degradation in potable water environments.
Pressure Rated – Designed for continuous operation under pressure in residential and commercial systems up to 582 psi.
Code-Compliant – Manufactured to meet North American plumbing codes when installed according to standard procedures.
Installation Notes:
Cutting and joining Type M copper tubing requires proper tooling and attention to standard techniques. Hard temper tubing must be cut to length and joined using solder, brazing, or approved press-fit fittings. It is not intended for underground burial unless otherwise protected per local code.
